Just got home from my England trip (ProCivitas United Kingdom University Tour) and I'm very delighted. This was probably the most giving, inspiring and the most "broad" trip I have ever been on. I feel relieved that I now know my options and that I now more "easily" can plan my future. I'm up for a fight.

In just a few days I'm leaving for England where I will be deciding wether or not I want to spend my university-time there. I'm also thinking a lot about what I want to do with the time I have got left in "the gymnasium". One thing is for sure, I will do whatever it takes to implement my "GoPro Project". A project where I would be trying out extremesports and filming everything with a GoPro Camera, then at last putting together the footage in to a montage/clip/video. It would be so awesome... So here I am, sitting at the Newark's SAS lounge waiting for my eight-hour flight trip to begin, not something I'm looking forward to. I've had an experience full, glorious, educational and a bit perilous week in Manhattan, New York. I've had an internship at Childhood, I've paid a visit at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, I've walked the 1,6km long High Line Park, I've had bite at Hard Rock Cafe NY and walked down Park Avenue looking up at the huge skyscrapers. An interesting week that I would love to rewind and enjoy again.

Time for some spontaneous thoughts!

...For just a moment ago I started thinking for myself that I just bought a new BIG awesome lens for my Nikon D7000, a Sigma 150-500mm. With this lens combined with my semi-pro camera I can take some pretty "neat" pictures, great isn't it? But not everyone has this kind of equipment available in their hands, so out of the blue I looked down at my iPhone remembering that for not so long ago I found a really inspiring photographer/artist/painter who has his own webpage where he posts his iPhone art, he actually has a whole category on his site specifically made for his iPhone art. This is something new! And to be honest I really think that iPhone 4 has a really good camera for it's size and cost of money and is 100% capable of creating art.

Also if you really think about it, this is an equipment, something lots and lots of people has their hands on can use to create art, and they do, without really thinking about it! We all know that the most beautiful sunset is as much art as a boring old chimney.

So I unlocked my own iPhone went into Photos and started scrolling through my collection of photos, memories taken from all over the globe and yes, iPhone really is art.

NYC, my second day at Childhood!

Today when I arrived at Childhood I met the CEO of Childhood New York. We had an interesting chat and afterwards I interviewed her, asking some more basic questions such as "Do you enjoy working here in New York at Childhood?". It was surely a pleasant encounter.

So far I really like it here in New York! I'm starting to feel that I'm recieving what I came here for, experience. The enviroment is of course A LOT different from Sweden, it's stressful, hard and you always need to be "ON" if you want to survive. After all it's the city that never sleeps. But eventhough the cons there are pros, it's still enjoyable and personally I really like this kind of enviroment.

NYC, my first day at Childhood!

Hey-o

Just gone through my first day at Childhood here in New York City! I've been working on various stuff such as my photo & picture committe, interviewquestions for tomorrow and also I've discussed the design for Childhoods new homepage with my colleagues! The office where I work at isn't that big but I think that's positive, it makes you feel more "welcomey" in a way and it's more private. Also with not so many working there you get to know them better.

The people I work with are very nice! Some Swedish, some German and some Americans, the main language is of course English cause I'm not that into German and not everyone understands Swedish, but thanks to English we all get along and we can communicate without problems.

So I was surfing a bit on the internet and stumbled upon an article on the New York Times regarding Spotify in the USA. I remembered talking to a friend in California for not so long ago about different kinds of music services. I mentioned Spotify and all it's positive proporties but it turned out that my friend never even had heard of Spotify. I of course was really surprised but realized short after that Spotify is only available in Scandinavia and in some few European countries, so after all it wasn't that big of a surprise.

But lets back up to the article about Spotify. After two years of negotiations with the major record companies and many promises that its debut was right around the corner Spotify is finally today one step closer to being available in the USA. So no worries anymore, soon my friend you will also be able to enjoy the epicness of the music service Spotify.

Today I met the famous Peter Connée, the president of ProCivitas, a man who has the ability to inspire people and give them exactly the kind of "fuel" they need to get boosted.

Peter really made me think so at the moment my thoughts are kind of "spread out" and I'm trying to focus on only one thing, the future, but I find this quite hard to do so for only a moment ago I decided to post my thoughts here, at my very own blog. Now I know that I promised you shorter posts from now on but as I've just told you my head is invaded by thoughts so I cannot help to bomb my blog!

So, the future, it's something we both are afraid of but also very curious about. Today I learned (or atleast gained more experience of) that the future isn't made yet and the future becomes what we want it to become, it's you and me who creates it. We're all tailors in a way, we have the power to sew and create whatever we want to create (ops, one of my silly metaphors appears again), so always make sure you're sewing the finest piece of cloth!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you and me we are both living in present time (duh) and the future is only a creation of our acts in present time and if you want to create the ideal future you always need to make sure that you produce the finest cloth (your performance needs to be at the peak) that makes you more visible amongst other tailors. My advice is that you let your imagination work as fuel and that you let your creativity be your tool when you're sewing your ideal future.

Look at me! I CAN SEE INTO THE FUTURE!

Metaltown 2011

Hello! Anyone there...? Heeello? Oh right! I haven't written anything here in centuries. Sorry 4 dat.

Well I just came home from Metaltown! A swedish metal concert located in Gothenburg and there's pretty much only one word that can describe the whole trip, REALLYMEGASUPERAWESOME :) And now after such an awesome trip I'm home again as I just said, chillin' and enjoying the summer and soon I will be leaving for Båstad where I will spend the most part of my summer relaxing.

It has been the cold weather and the grey skies who's been behind the cruel act of lowering my eager to write. But now when summer is here I thought why not make a post, besides it has been a long time since I wrote anything here... so let's go!

First of all I would like to thank a very special teacher (Jacob Pettersson), my spanish teacher at my school, for linking my blog at the school's so called "intranät", a webbpage where all the events/grades/homeworks are posted regarding school, of course. I would also like to thank summer for arriving so soon!

Well, the Easter Holiday took a fast visit and is already gone, I did have loads of fun while it was here though, visiting amusements parks, local area networking (LAN), being with friends and the best part of if being homework-free! (I did have homework that needed to be finished but I didn't feel like doing them) I think it is as important to have holiday's as it is to work hard.

Now I also found a solution for my "no time" problem. You see... I'm a boy, 17 years old, I'm in the middle of studies and I don't have that much time to blog, unfortunately.. So I'm actually going to start writing shorter posts, now this isn't because of laziness I insure you! Haha. It just seems easier and I don't have to write a bible each time posting. So from now on, short and small posts.

A break from the "ON HOLD"

Hello there folks! I know that I'm on an "ON HOLD" thingy here at my blog but I have something that I really want to share with you! It's my very first English Task/Test we had to write in the beginning of the first grade! I wrote about me and my girlfriend, in a so called "Musical Memory".

It was a warm summer night in late June. Me and my girlfriend were out for a walk in the quiet sleeping village. We were having a great time together and I never wanted it to end, we decided to go somewhere where we could sit down and just chill. As we were holding hands walking down the street laughing together we suddenly spotted a kindergarten just up ahead. The sunlight came up over the top of the building, almost like it conquered the building with its strong yellow shiny light.

Me and Cindy, my girlfriend, decided to go in and have a look for some place where we could sit. We entered the kindergarten and the first thing that met us was this enormous swing that was made for kids to play in. Both me and her started running towards it and we reached the swing with our hands exactly at the same time. Cindy started climbing up and when she'd got herself into place she called for me to climb up after her.

Now we both sat there, looking at the sunset and watching how the stars started to reveal themselves, a cool wind blew past. I looked at her, she looked at me. I couldn't stand her beauty, her long blonde hair was moving in the same rythm as the winds waves. Suddenly the silence broke, Cindy had picked up her cellphone and she started to play a song familiar to me, it was the song "Best of me" made famous by Sum 41. She suggested that we should make the song our song, I couldn't agree more. I said "Of course" with a smile on my lips.

Now we sat there looking up at the stars, with the music playing in the background and at the same time watching the sun go to sleep beyond the spectacular horizon. In the background I heard the leadsingers voice singing: "As you will get the best of me". I saw Cindy's smile and by that point I knew I was in love.

Lately I've tried to come up with things to write about but I can't really figure anything out and I feel super-lazy because of that. I could write about what I ate for breakfast earlier today and what clothes I wear at the moment but that isn't my blog's purpose and there's already 99999 blogs out there that currently are writing about that.
Soooo here's the thing: I've decided to put my blog "on hold" for awhile until I come up with better things to write about! Also I'm waiting for summer! When summer comes a lot more things will happen, I won't be that busy and there'll be a lot more to write about! I've also told myself to put some more effort into blogging when the right time comes, so just hang in there!

Hejsanhoppsan!

Yeah, you heard me. Well this week is dedicated to us! We who are at the so called samhällesprogrammet in our school. The teachers surprised us at Monday morning with a so called mission that needed to be accomplished within 2 hours. The mission was to go outside and complete tasks all over the city! Such tasks as "What's the streetnumber of that particular building?" or "What kind of letter does the stones on the ground at the Kunskapsskolan form?" and so on. It was pretty fun but also a bit of pain in the ass running around all over.
Currently we've got a new mission to complete, we're supposed to almost advertise another company orally infront of our class, really good training for the "grown-up life" later though. Well weell I'm actually going to keep todays post short cause today I were at a, hmm what's it called? An exhibition? Oh well, a "mässa" at Malmö, so I'm a bit tired after running around in Malmö.

Stones and wheelbarrows

Hellooo everyone!

So I was talking to myself for just some minutes ago (like I usally do) about my own future and I started coming up with metaphors regarding ideas.

So, let's say that you're 100% sure that you've got an idea that one day will become really successful, now Im going to let a stone represent that specific idea. But to make that idea successful you might also need something called knowledge, it'll work as the perfect helping hand in all situations. Let me introduce you to the wheelbarrow aka the knowledge.

So, you can pick up that awesome stone of yours and start carrying it towards success and fame, but it'll be really hard to move the rock all by yourself and maybe you won't even be able to pick it up. So you need to get yourself a wheelbarrow! You decide to go and get yourself a wheelbarrow and let's say that it takes you three years to find one. You jump back to the idea, oh sorry I mean the stone, but this time you've got your wheelbarrow with you (if you've already forgotten, the wheelbarrow represents the knowledge). This time you pick up the rock but instead of trying to move it forward all by yourself you throw the rock into the wheelbarrow. Now it's so much easier to roll the rock towards success!

I guess what I'm trying to say with this stupid little metaphor I made up in about five minutes is that without the knowledge your idea might be to hard to move and without an idea the knowledge may be useless. You need that wheelbarrow to move big awesome rocks! Also if you'd like to, use that will of yours as "extra strength" to move the wheelbarrow.

So, to sum it all up I would say that combining will, the stone and the wheelbarrow is the best way to reach success and make your idea the most ultimate one.

Now if you excuse me I've got some more subjects that I need to talk to myself about. He,he,he.

Boooost presentation coming up!

Howdy! - Sorry for any spelling errors that the following content may include, I'm tierd jo see :)

As the title is saying, tomorrow is the day we're going to present our boost company infront of our class, both the teacher and my classmates will be grading us while we're presenting our company! A bit scary yes but I'm actually really excited and thrilled about the whole thing, we even rehearsed for about three hours today at school and it went really well, I actually kept rehearsing when I got home for a while. So it's a lot of work but I know that it's useful and worth it in the end. Also, this is the only time during your life you get to do all this, so why not put the right effort into it, be creative and do your best at all times?
Well I'm going to keep today's post short cause I need to get a good night sleep (after some Big Bang Theory) so I don't mess things up tomorrow. For just about ten minutes ago I was reading one of my small "remembering patches" to check that they were right (I was reading them loud) and out of nowhere the word f*ck sneaks in and I'm like "What the hell?", did I just read "Go f*cking wireless" instead of "Go wireless"? We don't want that to happen in front of the teacher tomorrow, but I guess people never would forget about our company if an accident like that should take place. There you go, something positive about f*cking up.

Boosting on

Hello y'all, didn't see ya there!

So, tomorrow's a big day, our boost projects are supposed to be submitted! At the moment it's looking smooth, everything is pretty cool and it feels like we have everything under control. We do have one small issue though, the marketing part has gone missing! We're all a bit confused about that cause not until now we realized that nobody has it. Usually when those things happends it almost always gets solved in one way or another so I'm actually not that worried, but I can't help keep thinking "What if's"-thoughts. You know "What if's"-thoughts, like: "What if we don't finish in time?" , "What if everything should get deleted at the last second?" , "What if godzilla should come and ruin the day?". No but you get the point.

It's not that I'm doubting my group, no not at all, we're an excellent group and even though we've faced some hard times, had some quarrel, it has always ended well and we've always regained our friendship! Speaking of friendship, I actually think one of the most important factors to create a healthy business is friendship and right after friendship comes will and cooperation.

I think there are three steps to create a good business, lets start from the beginning. So, friendship, the first step. You see, without friendship will and cooperation can't happend, sure will can happend individually, but you want the will in "group-form"! Cause if I'm the only one that has got will in my group I won't be getting that far, but if we were lets say four in our group we could multiply will by four! And finally when we've achieved will cooperation can enter the stage. So to sum it all up, Friendship might create Will and Will might lead to Cooperation. Just sayin.
Now is that someone calling? It sounds a bit familiar to me..hmm.. oh! It's the bed, night!

Resurrected

Heeeeello!

I'm sorry for not being active here at my blog lately but I decided to chill out the last days of my sportlov. Nothing much has really happend, I did throw a LAN with my friend Simon last Thursday though, I played some League of Legends for the first time and it was a lot of fun. It's an RPG-Action based game pretty similar to World of Warcraft in it's spell build actually, so if you're good at PVP (Player versus Player) in World of Warcraft I think you can manage League of Legends pretty well.

Enough of nerdy games now Philip! Yesterday I spent a wonderful night together with my girldfriend in Halmstad. I really wanted to have a night together with her now before school starts. We cuddled, watched half a movie and just spent time together.

Today I spent the day in Helsingborg with some colleagues working on our company, it's called UF which stands for "Ung Företagare" or in English "Young Entrepreneur". UF prepares you for growing up starting your own business and it's really useful. Basically you learn a lot about how to run a business correctly and over time you also develop, not only as an individual but also as an entrepreneur which I think is both fun and exciting. Well, we'll see how that goes, hopefully well :)

Two years!

Today me and my girlfriend are celebrating two years of love! Therefore I'm taking her to Båstad (after I've slept a bit) and we're going to make dinner, take a walk at the beach, sauna and pretty much celebrate this whole special occasion together.

It all started back in 2008. All of a sudden I started notice a pretty girl in my class, before she'd just been one in the crowd, a girl that you'd always thought looked nice but never really had a whole conversation with. But now, suddenly, she'd become the girl that I'd decided to fight for, she was perfect in all ways and I wanted her so badly, I would do anything to draw her attention off of the other guys. At the beginning she didn't really know how I felt cause back then I was a little shy boy who'd never really done anything more than hugged a girl, so it all started of pretty tough and slow. Nowadays she likes to remind me how mean I was back then almost delaying our love. But honey I'm truly sorry, you know, being in love with someone and then being able to express it, hmm that might be a bit hard sometimes, especially for a shy little boy :)

But that all changed, today my girlfriend surprised me with a cute special fondue which she'd made all by her self. She had prepared a table in her room with romantic candles, marshmallows for dip, hot melted chocolate and bananas cut in small pieces also for dip. It tasted wondeful and the whole idea was loving.

What I'm trying to say is that, Cindy you're the dream girl every guy are looking for and wants to be with, me having you with me, it makes me so happy that I won that fight back in 2008.

El futuro

Future the thing you might come to think of once a day (at least me). It's something that's always in our mind and it pops up time to time without notice. It's something that we're always struggling to make better because we all want our own ideal future, don't we?

Yes, as you've probably figured out I think of the future, A LOT. Im that worried type who always asks himself: "What if Im not able to reach my goals or if my ideal future fails?", what will happen? I've only got one shot to do this right, to make myself and everybody else proud.

But I've decided to fight for my future, I have a million goals to reach and some day I really want to be known as a person who has done something outstanding. I want people to look up to me and hope that someday they can become what Iam, cause that's exactly what Im doing at the moment. Im looking up, looking up to famous people who have it all and Im really hoping that someday I'll have all that fame and success (well, within a limit).

Now by all this I'm not saying that Im a lonely guy who has failed in life and I'm definitely not a miserable person. I've not only found love but I've also found a lot of good friends! But the actual guy inside of me talking about this so called ideal future is a hopeful, ambitious and struggling entrepreneur who is ready to give it all.

So, I'll keep on gazing out into the future.

Hello y'all internetpeeps... Actually, Ive been thinking and I think I'm going to stop calling you that from now on :) Sounds a bit...nerdy?

Anyways, one word: Finally! No more tests or submissions in a while and also sportlov is waiting ahead! I now can, after some weeks of hard work, finally breath out and relax for five or ten minutes.

Now to the reason why I haven't posted anything here lately:

Lack of ideas At the moment barely no one is reading my blog so I can't really ask anyone out there what they want me to talk about. So not until someone shouts out "TALK ABOUT PENGUINS" for example I won't stop talking about daily funny stuff and post my photos here (well my blog will still include my photos even if I start talking about penguins so).

But there's one thing you can't tell me to stop doing and that is writing my blog in english. The biggest part of my idea in creating and developing this blog is pretty much developing my english language, so no Swedish for you!

But in time I actually think interesting stuff will start poping up out of nowhere and when it does, you'll be the first to hear about it, I promise ;).

¡Hola internet peeps!

Yesterday I gained my very first possible follower here at my blog! I welcome you Peter and I hope you'll enjoy your stay here at my blog.

Anyhow, my internet have preveted me from entering the blog world in time today so that's the reason why today's post are released a bit late, I apologize to you all.

Actually, lately I've been feeling a bit ominous, for example, right before the chinese test today this huge head ache sneaked up on me and it almost prevented me from thinking clearly, but I did my best and hopefully it all went well! Also this morning when I was going to get off the buss at the Lasarett busstation my headphones somehow got stuck in the aircondition that goes along the floor in the buss. But that happends to everybody everyday, or? So now I had to jump off at the next busstation and walk from there all the way to ProCivitas, which luckily isn't that far.

But enough of bad luck, today's Valentine's day! And I'm superlucky that I actually have a girlfriend to spend it with. Sadly though I can't celebrate this years Valentine's Day with her because maths test is coming up tomorrow, and I need to study (which Im not doing at the moment, ops). But I thought at least today's picture could represent my love to my dear girlfriend and that it could be in the area of some kind of love theme. So I've chosen a picture I photoshopped back in 2009 when we celebrated our ninth month together as a couple in love.

Nĭ hăo internet peeps!

Chinese test coming up! At the beginning when I'd just started studdying chinese it didn't held my interest that much and it wasn't that funny. Normally my Monday would end at 13:30 but thanks to chinese, which starts at 15:35 and ends at 17:00, my monday, hmmm, feels a bit longer in a way. I wonder why.

Anyways now with all the new "signs" and more useful sentences it's getting really... almost poignant in a way.

A fun fact, I have somewhat three years of experience of the spanish language, but now in time the chinese language have started to transcend in a way. What I mean by that is that when I sometime can't figure out a word in spanish it often pops up in my head but not in spanish, but in chinese (if it's not a too complicated word so to say).

It's pretty cool that if you have more interest in a language than another your brain tends to use that language in first place to locate phrases and words. Its logical I know, but it all happends in a millisecond, so you never come to think of it really.

Well, I think that's pretty much all for today. A not so funny post I know, but yeah the school is preventing me from having any free time.. Lets end todays post with a chinese inspired picture.

Second day out there!

Once again, hello internet peeps!

Second day right? Well, nothing much has happend since yesterday, I met my wonderful girlfriend and watched movie with her called "Deja Vu", I might have slept a bit during the movie, but the parts that I saw were good ;).

Enough about my daily life now, I think I want to talk a bit about size. Yesterday when I was walking home from my girlfriend I looked up to the stars and came to think of how small we actually are. Normally when you're sitting in a boring classroom listening to the teacher talking about for example hypergiants (huge stars) and other astronomy facts you're not that excited, surprised or hooked. But as soon as you walk outside a cloudfree night and gaze up to the sky seeing all the stars, you can't help but smile. All those stars out there, how many are they? How far away are they floating? Are we alone out here in this "obscurity"?

The stars and the universe in my opinion are really fascinating. The light we're seeing when we're looking up to the stars might just be the light which was emitted sometime around WW1.

Hello internet peeps!

So, I've just begun my journey into the unknown blogging-world, a journey I never thought I would be a part of. This blog isn't going to be about what I'm wearing at the moment or about what I think you should wear, no, I'm not going to be a part of that. My whole idea about blogging, my vision I think, includes a bit of photography, but also the english language (yeah you heard right, I'm not going to write in swedish here because a part of my whole plan in making this particular blog is that my blog also is going to contribute with some sort of english training for me. And by english training I'm not saying that I will blog about my english homework, of course not).

...But lets not forget, it will also include other random, funny (hopefully) stuff that pops up in my daily life.

So if you care to share my "journey" just check in once in a while, cause that's what I'm going to do.
